Social Media Intern
Internship · Hybrid / Flex · Remote (North & South America only)
We’re looking for a motivated Social Media Intern to take full ownership of the Let There Be LinkedIn presence — from ideation through to posting.
Overview
About the role
Let There Be is a science marketing agency that helps leading healthcare brands communicate and visualize science in clear, ownable, regulatory-approved ways. Our work lives at the intersection of science and creativity, and we’re growing our presence to match the quality of what we create.
This is not a supporting role. You’ll be responsible for the entire content pipeline, from ideation through to posting. If you think in content, move fast, and want real ownership over a brand channel from day one, this is that opportunity.
It’s an ideal launchpad for anyone considering a career in marketing: an inside look at how a working agency operates, a real portfolio of published work, and hands-on experience across strategy, content creation, and execution.
Compensation & Structure
The details
- Compensation — weekly stipend; amount confirmed upon offer.
- Time commitment — flexible and part-time, estimated 8–12 hours per week. Flexible scheduling for candidates in school (part-time during the semester, full-time on breaks).
- Duration — internship-based, with potential to extend based on performance and fit.
- Location — fully remote (North & South America only). Availability during Eastern Time business hours for check-ins and approvals is expected.
Core Responsibilities
What you’ll do
- Content ideation — generate a consistent pipeline of post ideas that reflect our voice, expertise, and work, from thought leadership to behind-the-scenes.
- Copywriting — write clear, on-brand captions and post copy for LinkedIn, tailored to healthcare brand marketers and industry partners.
- Visual creation — produce or source supporting visuals within our brand guidelines.
- Approval workflow — submit content for internal review and incorporate feedback before scheduling.
- Posting & scheduling — manage the calendar and publish consistently on the LTB LinkedIn page.
- Performance awareness — track basic engagement metrics and flag what’s working to inform future content.
- Process building — develop and document a repeatable content system: calendar framework, approval workflow, and posting cadence.
What We’re Looking For
You might be a fit if…
- A genuine interest in marketing, content creation, or social media — ideally with hands-on experience managing a brand or personal account.
- Strong writing skills with an instinct for voice, tone, and audience.
- Comfort creating simple graphics or short-form visual content (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar).
- Highly organized and self-directed — you can run a content calendar without being micromanaged.
- An interest in science, healthcare, or B2B marketing is a plus, but curiosity and willingness to learn the space matter more.
- Someone who takes initiative and brings ideas to the table unprompted.
How We’ll Start
The process
If your background aligns, we’ll invite you to complete a short creative challenge — a creative writing assignment, a 60-second video introduction, or a sample LinkedIn post. It’s intentional: we want to work with people excited enough to show us what they can do.
Strong candidates will be invited to a brief introductory call, and from there we’ll move quickly toward an agreed start date.
