About
Ana was freelancing and working out which direction to take next when an email arrived through her Behance profile. It was an invitation to discuss international work, with a proposal appealing enough that she was skeptical of it; the whole thing seemed too good to be true. She spoke to Alex, they hit it off, the offer turned out to be genuine, and she accepted.
At some point the thought struck me: we do more than just produce a video. That was a turning point for me.
Ana Mortari
Every project here begins with understanding the product and the science behind it, then working out the best way to show that and to explain the study and the process that produced the result. Art direction is the newer part of the job for her. She does not handle it entirely on her own yet, but she has been learning more of it with every project.
What she tells the team is how much she enjoys doing this job and learning about herself in the process. Over the last few years she has learned a great deal about science and the human body, and she always walks away from a project feeling smarter.
She enjoys going to music festivals, plays a lot of games on both PC and consoles, and loves traveling and exploring beautiful natural places. She also watches a good deal of anime. Her recent favorite is Frieren.
