Nate Bundy

Account Manager

Fort Worth, TX, United States

About

Nate started college as a biology major on the pre-med track, then felt a call toward youth ministry instead and spent more than twenty-five years doing it. For about five of those years, in a smaller town, he also worked part-time as an EMT. He describes it as a natural extension of the ministry, and as a way to use the medicine and biology side of his brain that he had set down when he changed direction in college.

About a year and a half ago it was time to move on. Nothing had gone wrong, and he still loves that work, but his life stage was changing: two kids in college, one in high school, and he wanted hours defined enough to be present for the years he has left with them at home. Work that supported his family and still felt meaningful was the non-negotiable. A friend already at Let There Be mentioned they might be hiring an account manager, and he applied and got it.

It clicked for me before I ever walked in the door. A place that can make a stranger understand the work from the outside is a place that knows what it is. That’s the same job we do for clients, just pointed at ourselves.

What has surprised him since is how much more there is inside each project than he expected going in. With a biology and EMT background the body itself was not new territory for him, but the science sitting inside the products the team works on has been. The other new thing is using AI as a real working tool rather than a novelty, whether that is building slide decks, turning a full meeting transcript into an action plan, or running an email through it before he sends it to catch what he missed. It is woven into how he gets through a day now.

He is a family man first. Three kids, two in college and one in high school, and being in their lives and their interests is a huge part of who he is. He picked up Dungeons & Dragons in the last five years and is all in, always a player and never a DM, across multiple groups and multiple sets of friends. He is still involved in church work, and he is not stepping away from it.
